LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER AND FOUNDER
Ros Bhattacharya

On Pointe is the creation of our founder and lead choreographer, Ros. Having taught dance in primary schools for over sixteen years, Ros is extremely passionate about imparting her knowledge and experience teaching dance to children. She hopes to inspire her pupils to embrace their own natural dance ability, become confident performers and develop their creative skills with authentic, collaborative and exciting character based routines. With a Diploma in Acting and having trained in dance, her love of performance and a desire to bring stories to life led her to teach dance and choreography with the same intention. At On Pointe, children will not only learn challenging, expressive and fun choreography, but will also gain experience in acting through the mean of dance.

Ros - "Expressing yourself through music, conveying emotion, telling a story - all through the power of dance, is truly special. Teaching children to dance has been a passion of mine for over sixteen years. I feel very proud of every dancer and performer that I've taught, especially when I can see their confidence and self-belief grow. Dance is amazing at that. It's inclusive, creative and expressive, allowing one to truly be themselves."

Testimonials
"My daughter has been a student of Ros's for many years. With some encouragement from me, she started the classes as a shy, reserved child who never wished to be centre stage. Now, in her final year of primary school, she will leave full of confidence, improved coordination & a love of performing arts. This is a testament to Ros's kind, nurturing disposition and her infectious positivity. Thank you Ros for being such an inspiration and allowing my daughter to channel her inner dancer!" -
Cara
"I have been a part of Miss Bhattacharya's performing arts group since year 4 (I am now year 8). She always makes it enjoyable and fun while still teaching us lots of ways and styles to perform. She has helped me so much as a person, and as a performer and I am very grateful." -
Henry
"Ros is an amazing teacher. I love her dance style and rather than it being just about learning choreography, she encourages you to make it your own and add your own touches. She is a bright teacher who makes all kids welcome. You can't walk into her dance class without smiling!" -
Sofia
"My son has been a student of Ros's for a number of years. She has always encouraged him to grow and explore his passion for performing arts. He has gained so much confidence and learned so much from being a part of Ros's classes. She is an amazing teacher and I would recommend her method of teaching which is inclusive and encouraging to children of all ages" - Kelly
"My daughter was taught dance by Ros for three years and absolutely loved it. It gave her a huge amount of self-belief and confidence. Watching her shine on stage is always a proud, tear-jerking moment for a parent, and this is thanks to Ros!
Ros is extremely talented and dedicated. Her passion for dance is contagious and clearly, she was born to do this." -
